With wrong-minded seeing we make a past that never was in order to procure some ego payoffs that never made us happy and hold us hostage. Today we can realize that that it was us who made the mistakes and we don't need to stop ourselves or anyone from the past. This takes in both the past and the present where out of our need we have been invasive with others or projected this shadow on others around us and had them act in a similar way towards us. Today we can release all shadows and self-concepts of the invader and all past experiences in this regard as we are just using it to hold ourselves back out of fear and our own miscreation because we want to indulge in our own wishes rather than the truth.
